Look at Alicia!!!!! 

Yes...this is Alicia Phillips and she is learning to water ski on Wattsbar lake in Tennessee.

Here is the walkway down to the dock in Tenn. Looks like my plants are doing pretty well.

Here is a picture of my brother Willard with his catch of crappy from our dock! Lots of good eat'in to be had here! Save some for us Willard!!!! 

Look at these two babe's. They are standing on our dock with the crappy they caught! This is Emily's friend Beverly and my niece Emily. We are anxious to get back to Watts Bar Lake! 

When we go on hikes, the girls drink from my hand. Josie is waiting patiently for Roxie to finish her drink.

Dave and I hiked up to the scratching post that we saw while riding up a gondola in the snow. The snow has melted and we were able to hike up to the trees. 

We did see these Sea Lions on the whale watching trip. 

This was taken in Anacortes, WA. We were heading out in this boat to whale watch. Notice it is an open boat. 120 miles later....no whales. Froze our "you know whats" off. We call it the whale watching trip from hell. Another crazy experience we will never forget.

Crater Lake. 

This is the doorway to the pipe to look out over Crater Lake. 

In the winter, this pipe is buried and it is the only way to see Crater Lake. 

There was still lots of snow at Crater Lake. We have Flat Stanley duty. That is what Dave is holding up. Parker's school project. We did one for Emily one year. 

On our trip back from Seattle, we stopped by Crater Lake.

This picture is for Gavin. A lizard was just sitting there looking at me. 

Not sure what these are but they look like blossoms of some sort. I will have to look them up. I will be back on the trail and hopefully see them in full bloom.

Signs of Spring! 

Here we go....I am in the lead, Marylou has the yellow jacket on. Smooth paddling! 

After one of our hikes, Marylou and I decided to drop the kayaks into Lake Tahoe and go for a spin. Beautiful! You see the bottom down to 75 feet! 

First wake boarder I saw this season on the lake! Of course he is wearing a dry suit! The temp of the lake is in the 50's.

Some Aspens on the Martlette Lake hike in high elevation country. 

Gloria and John on the Marlette Lake hike. We hiked to 9000 feet elevation where there was still a lot of snow. We heard the sounds of female Mountain Lions communicating to each other and their cubs. It is a spooky, grunting, kind of hooting sound. We had the bear bells with us so they knew we were there. I am sure they smelled our lunches too!

We found these pine cones on a recent hike on the Rubicon Trail. One is 24 inches long!

Dianne, this is the hike you and I took when you were here. Can you believe the snow? We started out on dry land.

Cinco De Mayo. 

This was the ranch that Kelly and Eric were married on in Goldbar, WA. The ranch belongs to Kelly's good friend Cindy. They have miniature horses, bunnys, peacocks, etc. on the ranch. Cindy built the house with two wings, one for her Mother and Father and one for her. Neat house. She has serious health problems (from taking Fen Fen) and needs her parents close.
